Description

While taking photos of the moon, I kept getting this large green orb. It showed up in 4 of my photos...all in different locations, but about the same size in proportion to the moon. It disappeared after 15 minutes. If anyone knows what caused this, I'd love to hear what it is! Thanks!

OH and I do believe that green orb is some sort of reflection off the lense .... I was able to get a reflection of the actual eclipse WHILE taking a pic of it (got a reg. looking sun plus the eclipse shot off to the side...it's in my photos

if there are clouds present, it lets in less light...and so on :).. maybe turn out lights outside as well (have it pitch black..no porch light, etc..) You captured this better than I could of!!!! WOW!!! :D

and found an awesome page telling me what are the BEST settings on your camera for taking moon shots...but it looks like you did a GREAT job on this one!!! It had to do w/ out much light was being let into your lense :)...sometimes
