Description
Media: Pen and Ink Dimensions: 9 x 6 inches Date of Work: 2008 Queen Anne's Lace, which is also called Wild Carrot and Bird's Nest, is a biennial plant originally from the UK/Europe. It's name is attributed to Queen Anne of England and her past-time of hand-making lace. This drawing features a dragonfly and a ladybug (or ladybird as they are called in England) on what I think of as a Bed of Lace. It measures 9 x 6 inches and is Pen and Ink on environmentally friendly paper.
