Description
Revelation 21 & 22 talks about a beautiful place.
A place not of this world that far surpasses Heaven.
It tells us that heaven and this earth as we know it
both pass away, and a NEW Earth and Heaven will
be created in its place. Along with it, a place so beautiful
that words can't describe. The Lord says He will wipe
away all tears, and comfort His people-for all eternity.
This New City is what I sing about..

Jasper and jacinth, topaz, sapphires,
These are the things that I truly desire.
Onyx and beryl, rubies and gold..
These are the colours I wear on my soul.
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
Some of my favourite names for so long.
They're standing in order, great soldiers they are,
And these are the Saints, surrounding my heart.
The angels are watching, they stand at the gates,
Beholding the Father and patiently they wait.
It's getting much brighter with each step I take,
And the glorious Son shines, while I bask in His rays.
Jasper and jacinth, silver and gold,
These are the colours that make my new home.
