Description
After my Great Grandmother, Mary Rogers, married my Great grandfather LeGrande Corey they had a son, John. After that it was rumored she could no longer have children. Eight years later my Grandfather Ike, appeared. Family legend has it that Ike was a child of Crow descent, and adopted by my Great grandmother after my Great grandfather sired the child from a beautiful Indian maiden. These men and the women pictured here are of the Crow village where my Great Grandfather was an honoary chief. The men are playing with my Grandfather, Ike..it is possible one of the beautiful women in the other photograph is his real mother.
