My name is John and I live in South Wales. I play the piano and write a great deal of music, some of which is here. My influences are many, from classical and baroque to contemporary including early jazz, hokum and rock and roll. My favourite writer is probably Elvis Costello.
Interests:
Most music up until the mid 1990's.

commercial art from the 1930's. [old posters, record labels and cartoons etc.]

Most other things from the 1930's like car designs and architecture etc.

buying old 78rpm records just to listen to them
